Welcome to MUMBAI RINK FOOTBALL LEAGUE

MRFL intends to be a powerful tool for bringing people together and promote the sport of football across the length and breadth Mumbai. By creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, and engaging with local businesses and the wider community, the league will aim to build a strong and dedicated fan base that supports the growth and development of the unique initiative over time.

The League starts from 7th May till 28th May, with games taking place between 7.30pm to 11pm. A team may play a maximum of 2 games per day and multiple games per week. The schedule will be posted on our website (www.mrfl.in) prior to the start of the season.
The venue for the league: Wings Arena Bandra.

RULES, FORMAT & DURATION

  • The game will be played with four outfield players and one goalkeeper. Substitutions can be made at any time.
  • Each team will consist of five players on field, one of which will also be a goal keeper and a maximum of ten players on match day. All players must be registered with the league prior to the start of the season. Each team is responsible for providing their own team kit.
  • Standings and Playoffs: The standings will be updated daily on our website.
  • We expect all participants to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner both on and off the field. Any unsportsmanlike conduct, including but not limited to verbal abuse or physical altercations, will result in disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion from the league.
  • All matches will be officiated by 2 on-field referees with the support of a technical bench.
  • Throw-Ins: The ball is restarted with a kick-in from the touchline if it goes out of play.
  • Any physical altercation with the referees, management, crowd or between players will automatically invoke a ban and prohibit individuals from taking part for the entire duration of the tournament. It is within the referee and officials’ power to forfeit a game and award a victory to a team, without the finishing the game.
